First and foremost, I would like to thank my parents for instilling in me a deep sense of appreciation and respect for my Eritrean heritage. I also would like to thank and dedicate this documentary to all the Tegadelti [freedom fighters], including my uncle Makonnen Kelib who made the ultimate sacrifice so that I can now have a country to call my own...thank you.

My deepest and heartfelt thanks to the National Union of Eritrean Women for their guidance and support in the making of this documentary. I personally would like to extend my thanks to all of the following people who took time for allowing me the opportunity to meet and interview them.
